I’m an avid photographer,writer, speaker/teacher, fanatic adopter of new technology, compulsive learner, sometimes fisherman, occasional golfer, and sometimes practical theologian who loves sharing life with others.   I share photos and write about all of that and more on this blog.

  • Family:  married to Eloise for going on 43 years; dad to Sara, John and Mark; granddad to Ben and Madi; son of Bill; son-in-law of Reba.
  • Faith:  Christian who serves as an elder at First Colony Church of Christ;  lay chaplain for Lifeline Chaplaincy;  leader of caregiving support group.
  • Nonprofit Leadership:  past Chairman of the Board, Greater SW Houston Chamber;  past President, Texaco Retiree Club of Houston; Chair, community landscape committee.
  • Retired from Texaco Inc. after 33 years service.  Owned Mapmaker Coaching.
